well since you asked I thought I would take a moment to tell you about me

ok no one asked by I'm gonna tell you anyways

I was born in NY in 1968 and lived there till 1998 then I picked up and moved to Wisconsin

I started playing bass at the tender age of 7 when George Gokey from my Uncle Joe's band The Cartoons cut two strings of my lil acoustic guitar and taught me a few punk riffs

I went on to get my Bachelors degree in Music

Today I work in IT, by day I'm an IT director for a non-profit and at night I design websites

Hit the link at the bottom of this page to check that out.

a special thanks to AnnaCas for drawing me in her unique style, I love this pic

The second pic above is my and my wife Anne

This special lady means the world to me, not only is she the true love of my life, but she's my best friend, mother of my kids (we have 4 by the way) and you have her to thank for this website even existing

I was talking to her one night and she said I should have my own pinup site

so she kept at me until this place was made, AND she made all the grapics

You can see more her work over at Creative Dreams

and soon she'll be doing new graphcs for a site facelift

<%ThickBox(http://www.myfavoritepinups.com/images/me/5.jpg|My Dad)%>

This is a pic my dad. He passed away on October 17th 2009 at the age of 62

My dad and I were always best friends and he played a major role in shaping who I am today

I've had a lot of "influences" and a lot of guys may say that their father helped them become a man

My dad helped me become a human being, not just a man.

His morals and ethics are a huge part of who I am today

and I miss him....

now about this site....

There are tons of pinup sites out there and I wanted to do something different

No submissions, no having to apply to be on the site, no contests, nothing like that

I see something I like and I do a feature

yes sure I've made some nice friends because of it.. Wink Holliday, Nola Chick, Frenchy St Claire, Roxy Tart, and the folks over at Pinup Lifestyle, but there are many girls who I feature who I have never spoken to other than to let them know they have a feature

I dig my site, I think it's different and here is some of what is coming up

a facelife

a mailing list for updates

maybe a comment page

maybe a spot for you to rate the pics

and maybe just maybe a spot for you to send me ideas

hmmm how about a shoutbox?

Enjoy

John

    Hello John,
I'm a photographer who does work more in the style of Irving Klaw than the brightly colored kitchy stuff that seems to be everywhere these days.

I've also created my own little pinup magazine that's more like a men's magazine from 1963. I think you'd really enjoy it. I do it all by my lonesome and made it a PDF file so that buyers can have it on their computers. Give me your email address and I'll send you a copy to review. And I'd love to be added to your photographer and links section. Check out my website and I hope to hear from you soon. Take care.
