Harlean Carpenter Playing Cards?

Yes yes yes it’s indeed true.. I was cruising around Facebook (yes I still use that but not for pinups anymore) and came across a post from Harlean Carpenter. She said that she was setting up a Kickstarter  with a description of…

“Once upon a time...

someone asked if I had ever considered putting my photos on a deck of playing cards. At the time, I had not, but it struck me as something that might be a fun thing to do. 3 years later, it is getting done...”

DiamondsPromoAt that point I said.. Hold on a damn second.. I like cards.. I like pretty girls.. and I LOVE Harlean Carpenter.. Here. Take my damn money

Now I’ve know Harlean for a long time, her first feature was in 2010, and we’ve emailed back and forth a few times or more. One of the things I’ve learned about this spitfire of a girl is there is always something else going on, nothing is exactly as it looks on the surface

HeartsPromoHarlean supports a lot of charities, donates her time effort and indeed her cash into supporting them. And that is yet another thing I love about this lady.

Harlean and her photographer Jerry (I call him the lucky bastard) have 3 suits, diamonds, hearts and spades, in the bag and have their kickstarter running. You’d be getting the 52 card standard deck plus Jokers of exclusive images. These images won’t appear anywhere else, except as preview images. Plus there are hidden objects in the cards.. Have fun finding them!

SpadesPromoWhere is the money going so you ask? Harlean says…

“We've set our funding target to cover the purchase of the number of decks we need to purchase from the printer in order to get them at the price point we want, along with Kickstarter fees and US shipping costs. We will also be making a $1-per-deck donation to Toys for Tots.”

So there you have it. I have my deck reserved already.. how about you?

Here’s the link to Kickstarter.. now go get moving
